Patrick has spent his career delivering projects in East London that focus on sustainability, air quality, urban design and smart cities.
Working on behalf of Hackney, Islington and Tower Hamlets Councils he has managed a number of projects that sought to reduce the air pollution that blights the City Fringe and Shoreditch area. These ranged from helping local businesses do all their deliveries by cargo bike, to installing electric vehicle charging points in lamp columns.
This work culminated in introducing the UK’s first pollution free streets (allowing only pedestrians, cyclists and electric vehicles) in June 2018.
Now working at Beryl, he has shifted his focus to the world of bike share. Working in collaboration with cities, he is helping to deliver a best-in-class bike share system to make riding a bike the easy option for everyone.
