Stork School is an EdTech project invented and founded by 14-year-old Daria Kowalska. Daria is passionate about helping to achieve the United Nations no-poverty Sustainable Development Goal for 2030. The European Union assessments report that African countries miss over 15 million new job opportunities a year due to poverty.
Stork School’s mission is to create 1,500 job places a year for English speaking teachers from Africa which allows them to work online with teenagers within the EU who want to improve their English language skills. Daria started Stork School on September 1st 2019. Within one week, three teachers from Kenya were able to start the work without any special investments or costs.
“Innovation means bringing people together who can help each other to solve problems and grow.”
