Disability Rights UK (DR UK) is a national charity, its members defining themselves as ‘disabled people leading change’; the majority of its trustees and staff have lived experience of disability. It is the leading source of information for disabled people, government, businesses and other charities.
The Disability Rights UK website reaches over one million people each year. The core activities of the company include supporting disabled people to take up education opportunities and develop their careers through innovative projects, guides and leadership programmes. Its mission is to see a society where disabled and non-disabled people have equal access to opportunity, choice and independence.
